Chelsea meet the agent of absolute superstar – £500,000-a-week star told to leave

It has again been claimed in the media that Chelsea have met the agents of Neymar – after he was told he could leave PSG

The transfer window has been open for a few weeks now – and already we have seen the biggest clubs start making moves to get players signed up to new deals – and new stars signed.

PSG have already done the biggest deal of the transfer window by offering Kylian Mbappe a staggering £1 million-a-week contract and a £100 million signing on fee to keep him at the club.

And that deal means that the French giants may need to make a bit of money on order to stick to the financial fair play rules – and one of the clubs biggest stars will now be on the market.

The Sun have claimed that PSG will be open to offers that match their valuation of Neymar – believed to be around the £100M mark – and Chelsea have been one of the first clubs to make contact with the Brazilians agent about a possible deal.

Thomas Tuchel is a man that is looking to add goals to that attack and considering Neymar is one of the best players in world football and a player that he worked with during his time with PSG – a move to the Premier League could happen.

There are individuals within the club that feel the 30-year-old has been in gradual decline ever since his initial arrival in Paris and, as well as his consistent struggles with injury, his attitude has also been questioned.

Savenet’s View…

Is Neymar a goal-machine? Yes he is.. he is one of the best players in the world? Yes he is – can he use his tricks and skills to get past players? Yes he can

Can we see him coming to the Premier League and being a success?? No we cannot as he is at the stage of his career that he does no longer care about being the best player in the world

But it will be interesting to see where he ends up – and if Chelsea can get him to come to England or he heads to Spanish football.
