Some bad news was announced as the season came to an end yesterday, and that is the departure of another talented and popular coach at Chelsea.
The Blues have some really great coaches within the ranks and some really great minds as well, people who have made a real difference to our success over the years, and that can certainly be said for this man.
Christophe Lollichon has confirmed via his Twitter account last night that he is leaving the club after 15-years.
Chris has been a goalkeeper coach for many years with the first team, then he went on to work with the loan army goalkeepers, and then in recruitment. He’s certainly helped and made a huge difference to many Chelsea players careers and will be hugely missed in at Cobham.
After 15 years at Chelsea FC, it’s time to announce that I am leaving the Blues. From 1st team goalkeeper coach to working with the keepers on loan and the recruitment dept, being a part of the club’s success has been an honour.
Thank you to the fans & everyone at the club. 💙 pic.twitter.com/H3sZbz8fGW
