“The club has gone haywire” Roman Abramovich slammed as first-team ace ponders transfer exit

Roman Abramovich slammed

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been terrible for English football, according to former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan.

It comes in the wake of the Russian billionaire’s decision to put the club up for sale, amid a backdrop of Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, someone Abramovich has had to deny having links to.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Jordan said: “With due respect, with the exception of Chelsea, Roman Abramovich was one of the worst things to happen to English football.

“Abramovich’s legacy is what? For Chelsea, fabulous. For football in this country, I think it’s awful.”

Jorginho considering transfer exit

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has reportedly been unsettled by the news of Roman Abramovich putting the club up for sale and is now considering leaving in the summer transfer window.

The Italian has been a huge part of Thomas Tuchel’s success since arriving at Stamford Bridge and his departure would almost definitely prove a big blow to the German.

Jorginho has previously talked about returning to Italy in the future, while Juventus have already discussed making a move for the regista come the end of the season.

Erling Haaland set to make transfer decision

Haaland is set to be one of the most sought after players of the summer transfer window with the striking sensation looking certain to leave Borussia Dortmund.

The 21-year-old has a £62 million release clause that will become active at the end of the season and while Chelsea have held a strong interest, Manchester City and Real Madrid are currently favourites to do a deal.

Whoever is successful will not have to wait long to find out either, with The Athletic reporting that the player will make a decision in the next few weeks.
