Transfer expert Ian McGarry has claimed that Chelsea are now keen on signing Paolo Dybala, as Thomas Tuchel is not happy with Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is not happy with the lack of goals from the likes of Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic
The top-class duo only have five goals between them this season and they have not put in the kind of numbers that Chelsea expected when they were signed for a combined £150 million.
Therefore Tuchel wants to bring in another forward this summer, identifying Dybala as that player, especially as the Juventus man is out of contract and able to join up in the window on a free.
“It is our understanding at the Transfer Window podcast that [Chelsea] are in the market this coming summer for a striker,” McGarry said.
“It is Thomas Tuchel’s belief that they are overloaded with attacking midfielders who are not producing the goals that he would expect from players like Kai Havertz and Pulisic.
“Therefore Paulo Dybala at Juventus has come onto their radar with regards to moving to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
“He’s someone who has interested many European clubs over the last year or so, having expressed some dissatisfaction with his playing time at Juve.”
There are a number of players at Chelsea that have not been good enough over the past few seasons and we believe that a number of players will actually get sold in the transfer window.
Dybala is simply world class and a player that Juventus dont want to lose, but cant afford the kind of wages that he reportedly wants.
Stamford Bridge is a place where superstars can be made and broken, Dybala would see it as a risk for his future, but also a move that would bring the chance to win trophies and play in the Premier League.
