Chelsea are reportedly interested in trying to sign Ajax player Nicolas their 29-year-old.
Elsewhere, Marseille have already initiated contact about trying to sign the defender on loan. But, Ajax are not open to allowing a loan move. Barcelona are named as potential suitors for him, too.
Tagliafico, 29, is an attack-minded left-back who’s got a great left foot.
He’s not been an ever-present this season in the Ajax XI like in previous seasons, but his reputation across Europe has grown since joining them in 2018. The Argentine full-back has 14 goals and 20 assists in 153 appearances for the Amsterdam giants.

A selection of Blues supporters on social media are urging their club to wrap up a deal for Tagliafico quickly before the January window shuts.
Unfortunately, Chelsea’s interest doesn’t appear to be at an advanced stage.
They’ve been coping with Marcos Alonso as the sole available left wing-back in the absence of injured star Ben Chilwell. They’ve recently recalled forgotten man Kenedy from his loan, too.
It’s clear that there has been a considerable drop off in the wing-back areas recently, so the Blues need to try find a solution for the second half of the season.
