Former Man Utd star Roy Keane in a recent statement has named his best manager in the Premier League, and it is not Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel.
Keane also didn’t make mention of Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp as he went on to pick Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola as the best manager in the Premier League.
According to the former Man Utd star, Guardiola is a class above the rest of the other coaches.
“I remember we did a game last year, I did not write off Man City, but I think I said they lost their mojo,” Keane said on Sky Bet’s Driving Home for Christmas.
“And then they won the league, and it was like a doddle to them.”
“Obviously, I know they put in the hard work, but they won it and [Manchester] United finished second, but United we are never going to catch them; I would never bet against Man City now; I have just learnt my lesson from last year.
“It doesn’t necessarily mean Liverpool or Chelsea can’t pip them to the title, but I think Pep [Guardiola] is the man, I look at all of the managers I think Pep is the man.”
Man City former defender Micah Richards also declared Guardiola as the best manager.
