Things have been going from good to outstanding for on loan Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher at Crystal Palace this season.
The 21-year old is really coming of age in his breakout season at Palace, and he is not only being an asset and a quality player for them in midfield, he is really stepping up with his goals and assists as well, proving to be a very creative player and top finisher.
He showed it once again yesterday afternoon scoring two goals to see his side beat Everton 3-1 at home.
The fans were signing his name around the stadium as he celebrated his two goals and taking all three points, especially after his stunning long range strike, as you can view here.
As said above, this was his 6th Premier League goal of the season, which is fantastic for a player at his age and this stage of his development.
I’ve seen many say that he is the closest player to Frank Lampard we have ever seen, and you cannot disagree with that.
“I love it [at Crystal Palace],” Gallagher said after the match as reported by The Daily Star.
“Hearing them sing my name is a great feeling for me and gives me confidence which is amazing for a player. Hopefully I can continue to impress them.
“I always give my all and I try to affect the game as much as I can.”
